Vindictus is described to be the Patron of Decision Novels. Perhaps an Implementors. He appears "reaching out of the book" of Forces of Krill when the reader pretends to have the Magic Sneakers from the Prince of Kaldorn (who actually appears in the next book). He casts a spell and transforms the reader into an unvelievably ugly toad.
