The castle of the evil wizard Malifestro is located in a land where magic is stornger than in the Land of Frobozz. The Flathead Mountains separate Frobozz and the Castle.
The castle is located in a menacing wood of twisted trees, with dark birds with long beaks hoping among them, and snakes slithering on the ground.
Vines grow up the long stone walls of the castle's towers. In one of the towers there is a dark room with a pentagram and a black crystal sphere where Malifestro had imprisoned a demon and Syovar.
There is also a throne room, with a balcony offering a view to it; there Syovar had a magical duel with Malifestro.
